Creating a Vintage Style Greeting Card

Hi, I'm Carol Anne, welcome to my new blog!

I love to make greeting cards and since my mother-in-law's birthday is coming up I wanted to create one especially for her!

I used pattern paper scraps from my stash and added a sweet image from Paper Whimsy.  I wanted this card to have a vintage feel so I decided to add some vintage sheet music to the front of the card.  I also love the darling tags from Elle's Studio so you will see 2 of these on the front of the card as well. I also enjoy decorating the inside of the greeting cards.  I used more of the same patterned paper, a crepe paper ruffle accented with stickles around the little girl's photo and my Martha Stewart "Happy Birthday" punched sentiment covered in silver glitter completes this card.  I also created a custom envelope out of some script paper I have had forever.

I really enjoyed creating this card for my dear mother-in-law!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Carol Anne
